Q: Why do I want to join the MBA?
A: The MBA offers a variety of services for those who need to start run and grow their business. Right now we are working with the town to make the permitting process easier for everyone. We also give free seminars on merchant services, tax planning, insurance and many other services your business needs. In addition your business name is placed in the business directory on the mbavt.com web site which receives over 1000 hits per month.
Q: Who can Join the MBA?
A: The MBA is open to any business entity who is headquartered or does business in Milton, VT or its surrounding towns.
Q: How Much Does it Cost?
A: Basic Membership dues is $25/year. However we have additional sponsership levels ranging from $100 to $1000 per year.
Q: When do you have meetings?
A: We do not currently have a specific time when we meet. please continue to check the web site for the latest meeting schedules.
Q: Where do you have meetings?
A: Generally the location is the business of one of our members who has voluntarily opened their doors to us.
Q: Can I host a meeting?
A: Yes, if you are an active member of the MBA let one of the officers know and we will add you to the list of businesses that are willing to host meetings.
Q: What do you do at the meetings?
A: Sometimes we have guest speakers that talk on a particular business related topic such as taxes or merchant services; sometimes we invite the town to speak on concerns our members may have about the permitting process. Other times we provide networking opportunities to our members. We will typically post the topic of the meeting so keep checking back on our web site.
